Holistic Development

A holistic approach pays attention to girls’ Physical, Personal, Social, Emotional & Spiritual well-being as well as Cognitive aspects of learning. Along with this, our girls’ learning can be seen as integrated & interconnected. Holistic approach prevents the development of risk behaviour and under achievement. It encourages our girls to explore all their intelligences & capacities to see the world in all his wholeness. It includes Recognising & Identifying, Teaching, Counselling, Supporting, Challenging, Encouraging in their development.

Experiential learning

Experiential learning is the process of learning through experience & is more narrowly defined as “learning through reflection on doing”. Experiential learning is a district from rote or didactic learning, in which girls play a comparatively passive role. It is an engaged learning process whereby girls learn by doing and by reflecting it in their experience. This learning is quite simply, learning by doing. Our girls learn to walk, to talk, not by being shown or told, but by practicing and refining our technique. These learnings are applicable in all sorts of situations from all walks of life.

Self Directed Learning

Self directed learning is a process in which our girls take the initiative, with or without the help, in diagnosing their learning needs, formulating learning goals, identifying human and material resources for Learning, Choosing & Implementing appropriate learning strategies. Self directed learning can be as diverse as simply discovering and support the students in creating their own learning path.

Social Competence

Social competence consists of Social, Emotional, Cognitive & Behavioral Skills needed for successful social adoption. Social competence includes the students Social Skills, Social Awareness & Self Confidence. It describes our girls knowledge and ability to use a variety of social behaviours that are appropriate to a given interpersonal situation & that are pleasing to everyone.
